Not everyone has access to quality health care. That is why HealthPoint’s mission is to provide health care to those who need it. HealthPoint provides a large variety of services to support the community. Some of our most important programs rely on generous donations from people like you.
Healthcare for the Homeless
Through the Healthcare for the Homeless program, we treat almost 3,000 homeless visits every year. We give patients medical care, medications, shoes and socks, eyeglasses, food and bus passes, as needed.
The School-Based Dental Program uses portable dental equipment in lower-income schools to take dental treatment directly to children who need it most.
Reach out and Read
Reach Out and Read is a literacy program in which medical providers “prescribe” reading to parents of young patients. With funding from grants and individual donors, HealthPoint gives an age-appropriate book to children age six months to 5 years at each check-up.
You can help our patients receive the care they need by:
1) Making a tax-deductible contribution to HealthPoint Family Care
2) Sponsoring or attending a HealthPoint fundraising event
3) Joining the HealthPoint Foundation Board
