Volunteers
HealthPoint Family Care has several opportunities available for volunteers who want to help us provide quality medical care to all Northern Kentuckians, regardless of income or insurance.

HealthPoint Ambassadors invest the time to learn about us, our role in the community and our contributions to Northern Kentucky. The Ambassador takes every opportunity possible to share the HealthPoint mission with others, represents HealthPoint at certain events and meetings, and helps HealthPoint forge strategic partnerships with corporations, individuals and elected officials.

Special Events Volunteers help organize and work at fundraisers that benefit the neediest patients of HealthPoint Family Care. One example is our annual Cincinnati Pops concert at Riverbend, where volunteers help with invitations, planning the reception and greeting guests.

Office Volunteers may assist with quarterly newsletter mailings, occasional fund appeal mailings and computer work. HealthPoint’s administrative staff is small, as we focus most of our resources on direct care to patients.

Literacy Volunteers read to children at our health care centers, as part of HealthPoint’s Reach Out and Read program. Children up to age 6 get a new book when they visit our medical office. Staff and volunteers read to children while they or their families are waiting to see the medical provider.
